Many of you know the Les Sampou that you see on stage, but there
are other musical services that Les offers. Les Sampou not only
presents coffeehouse concerts and house concerts, she is also available
to give workshops, classes and demonstrations. Topics vary from
Songwriting to the Business of Music, to any collaborative idea
you may like to pursue!
Les also owns the Norwell Voice Studio in Norwell, MA. Les is a
vocal teacher and coach and is trained in vocal therapy techniques.
Les works with adult and children’s voices in a fun and safe
way! Whether you are old or young, professional or beginner, Les
can help improve your voice using the skills and techniques of
singing and performance, which include:

Les has been an Artist Educator for over twenty years. She has taught
private and group lessons in Guitar and Vocals as well as Songwriting.
For the past eight years, Les has owned a consulting business which
specializes in teaching the "Business of Music" to beginning
and intermediate professional musicians. She has taught workshops at
Berklee School of Music, the Boston and Cambridge Centers for Adult
Education. Les has given numerous music workshops at Folk and Blues
Festivals with such luminaries as Dave Van Ronk, Shawn Colvin and Greg
Brown. She was invited to teach at the Swannanoa Gathering, a prestigious
music school in North Carolina. Les has also received Massachusetts
Council of the Arts and Humanities grants to work with special needs
teenage girls at two local Massachusetts high schools.
